Dear Travelers,
March is a good time to be in Thailand as the country moves into its sunny summer season. The weather offers the perfect incentive to hit the beach and enjoy the great outdoors. From the sandy beaches of Ko Samui in the south to the hill trekking excitement of Chiang Mai in the north, Thailand has something for everyone. An added bonus is that hotel room rates tend to be slightly lower this month than in the previous four months, making the country a very affordable option for that short getaway holiday.
As we celebrate our 50th Anniversary, we promise to reveal even more new products and services, making Thailand an irresistible destination. An online Thailand specialist program and joint promotion opportunities are on the way. Feel free to contact us for more details.
Sincerely,

Chattan Kunjara Na Ayudhya

BANGKOK IS BACK!
This is the message that the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is announcing to the world and it is a message that has been embraced by the travel and tourism fraternity. Gripped by recent political events that have deterred international travelers to the city, Thailand's capital is now charging back to reclaim its status as one of the world's most favorite destinations.
Immediately after the dust settled, the city embarked on a massive cleanup campaign that re-beautified the downtown shopping area. Public transportation such as the BTS Skytrain and the Subway quickly resumed services to all parts of the city. Most importantly, the Thai tourism industry put the past behind to concentrate on attracting visitors back to Bangkok with physical renovations as well as special deals on rooms, tours, food, and shopping. The Amazing Thailand Grand Sale is one of the projects in which TAT and the private sector come out in full force to provideunprecedented offers to foreign shoppers. This is above and beyond the numerous sales and marketing activities initiated by each member of the tourism industry.
A number of travel agents in South Asia are returning to selling Bangkok and Thailand aggressively to their clients. So don't miss the boat and contact us at tatdel@tat.or.th.
Warm regards,

Chattan Kunjara Na Ayudhya
Director
TAT New Delhi Office
